An easy hookup is a short note. A long biography makes the other person work before they know if you even want to meet.

Three lines, then stop

Age. What you want. One limit. That is the whole message. If you add a fourth line, make it how you will end the night. You do not need a job title, a hobby list, or a paragraph about your week.

• Age as a number.
• What you want: explicit, a drink first, or a public meet.
• One limit you will actually keep.

Short does not mean rude, and it does not mean you skip 18. A one-line "hey" with no age is not easy. It is incomplete. Write it so the other person can answer without interviewing you.

Read it once before you send. If a stranger could not tell your age and your limit from those three lines, cut everything else and put those two facts first. If the limit is buried under charm, they will miss it.

If you want it tonight, name a public place in a few words, a time, and a way to leave. Your apartment buzzer does not belong in the first note. Save the charm for after they reply.

What makes it slow

Asking for a novel, a social feed, or a private photo before either of you has said an age. Say if you want explicit. Say if you want it tonight. If your limit is a public place first, keep that even when you want it fast. If they need your address to "keep it easy", stop.

If they answer with their age and a place, the note did its job. If they answer by asking about your job, you do not have to write the biography you just skipped.
